Differences between Digital and Offset Printing
Digital printing is as good as Offset these days and is used for print on demand situations when you don’t have time to wait for offset press jobs.
You can also use variable data such as for advertising situations for instance if you were selling phones and wanted to market black to men and pink to women including there names and addresses and different interests it can be done all at once and on the same day.
Offset is used for larger print runs when digital becomes too expensive, also a variance of paper stocks can be used that cannot go through Digital production machines.
This process can take usually from 5-14 days verses Digital which can be done instantly to a couple of days depending on the complexity of the job.
